Loans to graduate students to study abroad

  • To provide student loan program for US graduate students fully enrolled at eligible institutions outside of the US All fields of study
  • Subsidized: $8,500 per year Sub & Unsub Combined: $18,500 per year Interest rates are capped at 8.25%.
  • A US citizen or permanent resident and enrolled in an approved college or university
  • The Subsidized Loan is based on need. The Unsubsidized Loan is based on the cost of education less other sources of financial aid and loans.
  • Please see at the website if your school choice is eligible for the loan program. Over 400 institutions around the world are eligible for the loan program.) Applicant has up to 10 years to repay the loan in standard repayment.
