To finance U.S. graduate students to study non-traditional languages and
cultures Non-European language
- A minimum of one and a maximum of six academic semesters (24 months)
- Maximum award $12,000 per semester
- Late-January
- Around 100 per year
- 1. U.S. citizens 2.Enrolled in or applying to a graduate degree
program in an accredited U.S. college or university located within the
United States. 3.Willing to enter into a service agreement.
- Based on merit; The grants do not fund study in Western Europe,
Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.
- There is a federal service requirement.
