Minds Abroad offers highly economical, flexible, one to three week "High School & University Faculty Program" in Kunming, China. This program is limited to teachers and faculties of secondary and higher education institutes from across North America and Europe. All applicants to this program must be faculty members of either high school or colleges.

Afternoon volunteering or language exchange sessions

Curriculum Highlights
Morning Classes: Our morning language classes are limited to a maximum of three individuals. Our teachers hold degrees and have years of experience in teaching Chinese to foreigners.
Afternoon Activities: In the afternoon, participant faculty members can choose to either volunteer in various non-profit organizations or take part in language exchange with local Chinese residents. Most of our volunteer placements are with organizations that are devoted to the children of disadvantaged, migrant families and poor, homeless children.
Participants can also opt for language exchange programs that Minds Abroad arranges with individuals from local schools and communities. There is simply no better way to practice one's listening and speaking skills than by having regular conversations with a native speaker.
Evening Cultural Immersions: In the evening, program participants are free to take part in various cultural activities to get an in-depth understanding of the ways of life of the local people. Minds Abroad can help suggest and arrange activities include attending performances from local ethnic musicians and dancers, visiting local museums, and going to other sites of local interest.
