As we are introducing, the understanding of cultures can be a great vantage to study Chinese. Various travel programs are recommended by Minds Abroad to make your language study abroad in China so much more interesting and inspirational.

Travel as lightly as possible, and keep in mind the season in the country at the time of your stay. Summers are hot. Remember most things can be bought overseas. Leave the expensive jewelry at home, but be sure to have an inexpensive wristwatch. A money belt isn’t a bad idea. Although most areas are very safe, where there are crowds, there could be pickpockets.

Minimal dress clothes (dress or suit for women, and suit, tie, slacks and sport jacket for men)
Dress shoes

Casual clothes, including jeans, pants and a lightweight windbreaker
Shorts and T-shirts
Sneakers, sandals and comfortable walking shoes
Bathing suit
Comfortable underwear

First Aid and Personal Items:
Tooth brush, toothpaste and other oral care products

Extra glasses and sunglasses
Prescription medicine, and a copy of the doctor’s prescription
Over-the-counter medicines for colds, allergies, diarrhea, travel sickness, headaches
Also, antibiotic cream, eye drops, sun block, band-Aids, lip balm, bug spray, towelettes with alcohol, deodorant, vitamins, and feminine hygiene products
