Our programs aim to give students an authentic insight into the modern day China as well as its traditional past. For an authentic insight into the modern day China we must go beyond its modern, fast-paced metropolises of Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong and visit its interior, its heartland in central and western China. Many of our summer programs in China involves trips to bustling metropolitan cities like Beijing and Shanghai as well as small rural towns and villages in China’s interior heartland.
